GARDENING TOOL REDESIGN PROJECT
This project is to redesign a normal gardening tool and make it be more ergonomic.
At the start of the project, we were able to invite an extreme user to help us test some of the current on-market project and gave some feedbacks to help us generate ideas. The extreme user also gave some examples about those ergonomic products and how could we improve our designs.
For the next step, I made several sketch models to help me get a basic sense about the good gardening tool designs. During this process, I was abel to developdifferent design approaches and came up with variety of design directions.
The package of the hand fork it intend to use as less matieral as possible and recycable material. So the general form for the package is a folded sheet of clipboard with information printed on it with an open window at top for hanging purpose.
